Overall: Quality infrastructure, eventful college life, and good teachers, in my opinion, these are the highlights of my experience at Chandigarh University. So I am an LLB graduate from the university. I made some of my best memories at the university. The teachers at Chandigarh University are very smart and helpful. They ensure that each student learns and grows during the course duration, in an all-round manner. The campus is indeed beautiful and huge. There are libraries, auditoriums, seminar halls, gymnasiums, hostels, canteens, saloons, and whatnot on the campus. When it comes to placements, the university offers decent placements. The average CTC is Rs 8 to 9 lakh per annum. Wipro, Amazon, and, TCS are the most common recruiters of the university.
Placement: Chandigarh University offers average placements to the majority of the students. The highest CTC touches Rs 50 lakh per annum and the average CTC is Rs 8 lakh per annum. The placement cell starts the placement training as soon as we enter the final year of our courses. The top recruiters are Amazon, Adobe, TCS, and, Toshiba.
Infrastructure: The Chandigarh University infrastructure is one of the best among all other universities in Punjab. You will find every facility at the university starting from a library and auditorium to a gymnasium, saloon, sports fields, and, transportation.
Faculty: The staff and professors at the university are very friendly. The teachers are like friends and advise us about various career prospects. Some of the teachers were PhD holders while others were young and new to the teaching profession. Overall, the teachers are easygoing.
Hostel: The hostel block consisted of the girls’ building and the boys’ building. You will get the option to choose from AC and Non-AC rooms. For girls, we had the option of 3 seater and 4 seater only and for boys’ the hostel option for 1 to 5 seater was available. However, the hostels had some of the most modern facilities like a saloon, a gym, 24/7 wi-fi and power backup, reading rooms, a night canteen, a visitor room, and, an attached mess.
