DY Patil University School of Management, popularly known as DYPUSM Mumbai, was established in 2004 as a part of DY Patil University Navi Mumbai. In other words, the institute is a constituent school of DY Patil University Navi Mumbai. The institute is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
