The AP EAMCET exam is conducted by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. To apply for admission to engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses, you must meet certain AP EAMCET 2026 eligibility requirements as outlined below.
Nationality and Domicile
You should be an Indian citizen, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI). Applicants must also be residents of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, meeting the local or non-local status guidelines as specified in the admission policies of the state.
Academic Qualifications
You need to have passed or appeared in your Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination, recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. For engineering and pharmacy streams, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, while agriculture programs may require Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates appearing in their final qualifying examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply.

Agriculture and Allied Courses | Qualifications must include any of the following combinations, depending on the course: - B.Sc (Agriculture) / B.Sc (Horticulture): Physical Sciences, Biological / Natural Sciences, Agriculture, or a Vocational Course in Agriculture.
- B.V.Sc & A.H: Physical Sciences, Biological / Natural Sciences, or Vocational Courses in Veterinary Sciences.
- B.F.Sc (Fisheries): Physical Sciences, Biological / Natural Sciences, or Vocational Courses in Fisheries Sciences.
- B.Tech (FS & T – Food Science & Technology): Mathematics and Physical Sciences OR Physical Sciences and Biological / Natural Sciences.
