There will be 50 questions in the CUET UG Language section. In order to pass the CUET UG exam, candidates must answer 40 out of 50 questions. The language portion will evaluate the candidates' comprehension of various kinds of passages in terms of reading comprehension. There will also be grammatical questions in this section. Candidates should work through past year's question papers and mock exams to familiarise themselves with the format and style of questions that will be asked in the CUET UG language section. Candidates have 45 minutes to complete this CUET UG section.
Based on the CUET UG cut off for the academic year 2023-24, scoring above 700 marks is considered a good score in CUET UG. Candidates who score above 700 may be classified as 95th percentile or higher. Candidates can enrol in top universities such as the University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and other top central universities to pursue their desired course. The following range is considered good for admission to top universities:
- Very Good Score: 700 or higher.
- Good score: 650 and above.
The score range of 400-649 is considered average. Admission on the basis of average score can be obtained at any decent college in India that accepts CUET scores.
