Step 2: Complete the online application form and make a note of the application number generated by the system. Upload scanned copies of the following documents:

  • A recent passport-sized color photograph with 80% of the face visible (without a mask) against a white background (file size: 10KB - 200KB).
  • Your signature (file size: 4KB - 30KB).

Step 3: Proceed to pay the examination fee using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI, ensuring to retain proof of payment.

Step 4: Upon successful payment, the Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated.

Step 5: Lastly, download, save, and print a copy of the Confirmation Page for future reference.

Part I: Registration Page

  • Initiate the application process by providing essential information and recording the system-generated Application Number.
  • Input Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Father’s Name exactly as indicated on the Higher Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/University Certificate in capital letters.
  • Enter Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format as documented in the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/University certificate.
  • Provide a personal Mobile Number and E-mail Address, ensuring they are unique to the candidate. Note: Only one registered E-mail address and Mobile Number are permissible for correspondence.

Part II: Complete Application Form

  • Fill out all required fields in the application form.
  • Furnish a comprehensive postal address with PIN Code, encompassing both Contact Address and Permanent Address, for future communication. The PIN code of the Contact Address should be indicated in the designated space.
  • It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the accuracy of the Contact Address provided in the Application form.

Part III: Choice of Examination Centre Zones

Candidates are mandated to select two preferred zones for Examination Centres while completing the Online Application Form for TN SET 2024. Efforts will be made to assign an Examination Centre based on the candidate's preferred Zone choices. However, administrative reasons may necessitate allocation to a different centre in the nearby area.

Part IV: Uploading Scanned Images

  • Upload a recent passport-size photo (file size 10Kb – 200Kb) in color with 80% face visibility (without a mask), including ears, against a white background.
  • Spectacles are permitted if regularly worn.
  • Polaroid and computer-generated photos are unacceptable.
  • Applications not adhering to these specifications or containing unclear photographs risk rejection.
  • Fabricated photographs (deformed or hand/computer-made) will result in application rejection, considered a breach of fair conduct.
  • Applications lacking a photograph will be rejected. The photograph does not require attestation.
  • The passport-size photograph is for uploading on the Online Application Form and for affixing on the Hall ticket & Attendance Sheet at the Examination center. Candidates must bring six identical passport-size colored photographs with a white background.
  • File size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

Part V: Candidate’s Signature 

  • Candidates must upload a full signature in running handwriting within the designated box on the Online Application Form. 
  • Printed full names in capital letters will not be accepted as signatures, leading to application rejection. 
  • Unsigned Online Application Forms will also be dismissed.
  • Candidates should sign on white paper with a Blue/Black Ink pen and scan it for uploading.
  • File size should be between 04 kb to 30 kb.

Note: Uploaded images must be clear and proper, as the same photograph will be printed on the certificate.
