It was an 80-minute paper, carried out in the second shift from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM, held for 60 questions. Each question carried one mark and there was no negative marking. KCET Chemistry Students Reviews 2024

- The overall chemistry paper was categorised as 'Moderate'.
- There were multiple theory-based questions, many of which were reported to be direct and easy.
- In the calculations part, most of the questions were formula-based, hence easy. But a few questions were tricky too and required an in-depth understanding of the topic to be solved.
- When compared to JEE Main, the paper was easy.
- The paper was not lengthy, per se, though some calculations were a bit time-consuming. The theory questions covered up for the same, said the students.
