Anna University M.E. : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: I'll always cherish my time at this College. It is a place where education, values and reverence for nature are taught together. I was looking for best colleges in India and found it as one of the best for my higher studies.

Placement: Students from all over the streams got placed with maximum payments. Total over 500 students got offers this year. Placements is cell is really effective and sound in all the manners. You'll get best placements from here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of the university are excellent and the campus is very beautiful with good infrastructure. The food in the inn is delicious and the caretaker is nice. overall the environment is appropriate for students and internet or wifi is also available. All students are satisfied with all the facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are mind blowing. Teachers are not just mentors but have lots of skills like time management skills,problem solving abilities and most importantly high emotional intelligence which make it easy for them to connect with students.

Hostel: Excellent lodging is provided by the hostel. Enough storage space and shared bed study tables are among the many facilities that make these spacious rooms ideal for students. Along with being tasty and hygienic, the mess food is nutritional. The hostel has a safe and secure environment overall.

Overall: This beautiful place, taught me a lot of things, which I don't think is appropriate enough to share in the allotted space. Be it studies, be it competitions, be it sports, you mention it, CEG has it. Not only CEG but almost all the 4 campuses. Beautiful learnings and lessons learnt from friend's circle and also from the distinguished professors. There will be a Centre or a department or a society, that you might find for cultivating any productive habit of one's domain interest. The collaboration AU has with companies is evident in the form of CUIC, I happened to be one of the ambassador, and got placed @ IBM. As a whole the campus is a wonderful holistic package, I thank the Almighty for everything.

Placement: Lot of relevant placements brought, especially from academia, which usually will not be the case! This thing will be found only in B.Ed colleges, but CEG had it.

Infrastructure: Mixture of a very old and new infrastructure could be found, mess for all the campuses, cycle stands, bike stands, wi-fi hubs especially will surely cater.

Faculty: Mostly matured Professors through out the campus; Sometimes it's the other way round, which also I believe is a learning by itself. Most faculties are alumni.

Hostel: Never been a part of any hostel throughout, so i could not provide a proper feedback, but i have been to hostels, which had prayer halls, which is really helpful.

Overall: I am Mukesh Pillai and I am a BE Civil Engineering graduate from the CEG campus. Currently, I am doing my ME Structural Engineering from the same college Anna University. I got my admission through the GATE quota. But there is also the CEETA-PG quota for students without a GATE score. The entire admission process is centralised and conducted by the Centre for Admissions. The selection process can be tough as the university receives a huge number of applications.

Placement: The placement record of our college is very good. Anna University takes care of the placement opportunities through on-campus drives. In 2022, the highest salary recorded at the campus was Rs 36.5 LPA. As a final-year ME student, I am expecting to get placed next year at a good construction firm with a promising package.

Infrastructure: The civil engineering department has multiple divisions and CoEs, including our structural engineering division. There are a number of labs for every division to help students hone their practical skills. We also have a Centre for Entrepreneurship Development. It conducts various add-on certifications, seminars, and workshops.

Faculty: Our structural engineering division has total 13 full-time teachers. There are also teaching fellows who assist our teachers with academic and non-academic activities. We really respect our teachers because they are really knowledgeable and polite. They make the classes interactive with the use of slides and presentations.

Hostel: CEG has separate boys’ and girls’ hostels. Our hostel has 14 blocks. Each of the blocks has a separate number of rooms. I live in the Aambal block. It has 64 rooms. The rooms are big and shared. However, we are not allowed to use extra electrical fittings in our rooms. We need to pay hostel fees and mess fees separately.

Overall: Anna University is highly respected and helps students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers. Anna University provides quality education in engineering, technology, and management fields.
