The country that stunned the world on 15th August' 1947.
As another independence day is approaching us we are all in a little patriotic mood. We are looking back and realising that we have travelled a long way from where we were in 1947. All those struggles are long gone, all those wishes were fulfilled, all those prayers were answered and we were free. We have new struggles now, new wishes, new prayers but we are free and it is all because of the people and their determination to make this country free which they did and passed on the determination to new generations as a gift. It is the reason that makes us great, we have a long way to go and a lot to achieve but we cannot forget what we have already achieved. In the spirit of remembering and rejoicing over success, CollegeDekho brings you the 5 major milestones that India has achieved in the last 70 years.
