Why Entrance Exams for Delhi University Admission?
There is no denying that scoring well in Class XII Board exams is part hard work and part destiny. But with entrance exams for admission to UG courses, you stand a second chance to excel (if you lucked out in the first instance) and get into a college of your choice.
But that isn’t a cakewalk either. Lakhs of students register for thousands of seats every year. In colleges like St. Stephens, SRCC, LSR Hindu, Venkateshwara, Miranda House, the cut off marks have been touching a new height every year. More often than not, students miss the cut by a whisker. Even students with 90% plus marks in Class XII face problem to find their name in the admission list in DU a college in first or second cut off. So, the fact of the matter remains that entrance exams for UG courses in universities are a boon!
Like many other universities, Delhi University also offers admission to few courses through entrance tests. The admission to these courses takes place through an entrance test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
