Top IIIT Colleges in India: Eligibility Criteria
Fulfilling the eligiblity requirement is an important aspect of IIIT admissions. The IIIT eligibility criteria include important details like educational background, minimum marks, age limit, subjects, and more. - B.Tech Eligibility Criteria: To study BTech at IIITs of India candidate must pass the 12th grade or equivalent. Candidate must have obtained a valid JEE Main score.
- M.Tech Eligiblity Criteria: Candidates who want to study MTech at IIITs must have completed a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology (B.Tech or B.E) from an accredited university in the relevant field. Candidate must have a valid GATE score.
- MBA Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must have a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% of the required or an equivalent CGPA (45% of the required grades or an equivalent CGPA for applicants from SC/ST). Candidate must have a valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or GMAT.
- PhD Eligibility Criteria: To study PhD from IIITs, Applicants should have a master's degree in a first class or its equivalent. CGPA in management, engineering, or technology-related fields; first-class master's degree or its equivalent; CGPA in a bachelor's program in science, operations research, computer science, economics, or commerce with a focus on mathematics or statistics.
IIIT Admission Process

- IIIT admission process will commence soon as the exam dates for various entrance tests have been announced.
- The JEE Main 2024 exam will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2024 for session 1. The JEE Main Session 2 exam will be held from April 1 to 15, 2024.
- The GATE exam 2024 is scheduled to be held on February 3, 4, and 10, 11, 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main cutoff and JEE Main result, based on which students will be shortlisted for the counselling process.
