The admission to the Allahabad University B. Tech program will be done through the entrance exams. Candidates who want to take admission to the Allahabad University B Tech in Electronics and Communication and B.Tech in Computer Science Program should have passed the entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency like  IIT-JEE Mains and Advance with a rank and Counselling process undertaken by JoSSA/CSAB.

• IIT JEE Mains Exam- JEE Mains is the entrance exam conducted by the NTA to select students for the various engineering colleges of India. The JEE Main 2023 Exam will be conducted in January and April.
• IIT JEE Advanced Exam- JEE Advance is the entrance examination conducted by the Zonal Coordinating (ZC) under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). It is conducted after the JEE Mains Exams are completed. Candidates who have cleared the JEE Mains can only sit for the JEE Advanced Exam. 
• JoSSA Counselling- JoSAA assists qualified students for seat allotment to get admission to JoSAA participating institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs. It was created in order to streamline the process of maintaining, conducting, and allocating seats to qualified candidates for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Candidates who will clear the JEE Mains 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023 will be eligible for the JoSSA Counseling. The JoSSA Counselling 2023 will be conducted once the JEE Mains and Advanced are commenced. 
• CSAB Counselling- CSAB Counselling Process 2023 will be held by the Central Seat Allocation Board to grant admissions to participating institutes like as IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs based on JEE Main 2023 marks. Candidates who obtain a qualifying JEE Main 2023 score and pass their Class 12 exams will be considered for admission.
