Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2024 Counselling: Dates, Registration, Seat Allotment, Choice-Filling, Documents Required

Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2024 Counselling registration is expected to commence in the month of August 2024. The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh (APDHTE) will conduct the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 in online mode only. Candidates who successfully qualify the NEET UG 2024 Exam held on May 5, 2024, will be deemed eligible to participate in the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024. The NEET UG 2924 Result was announced on June 4, 2024. The Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 will be conducted in two rounds, followed by an open round of counselling if seats remain vacant further. The eligibility criteria to participate in the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 process have been explained below. All candidates must ensure to follow all of the guidelines provided below to be eligible for the counselling registration process.

• All candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of registration for Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 for Arunachal Pradesh MBBS Admissions. 
• Candidates must have qualified their Higher Secondary education with a minimum of 50% marks from a State-recognised Board and with Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects. 
• Candidates must have qualified the NEET UG 2024 Exam with the required NEET passing marks 2024. 
• Only those candidates domiciled in the state of Arunachal Pradesh are deemed eligible to participate in the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024.
• Candidates who are residing in Arunachal Pradesh at a stretch of 3 years and have completed their Higher Secondary education from State-recognised Board and with Science stream are also eligible to apply for Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024.
• Candidates of parents who belong to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) and Non-APST employees of the State/Central Government/PSUs employed in Arunachal Pradesh are also eligible to apply for the state counselling process. 

Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2024 Counselling: Step-by-Step Process

Students can follow the below-mentioned steps in order to participate in the Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2024 Counselling rounds:

Step 1 - Registration

In the first place, students have to register themselves and open their student accounts for the counselling rounds. They can follow these steps:

• Visit the official website of the conducting body

• In the next page, fill in the details like name, date of birth, qualification, etc.

• Upload supporting documents like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Caste and Category certificates, Class X and XII mark sheets, etc. 

• Input contact details like email id, phone number, etc.

• Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature of the candidate

• Pay the registration fee

Step 2 - Choice Filling

After the registration for the Arunachal Pradesh NEET 2024 Counselling is complete, candidates need to participate in the choice filling and locking round, Here, candidates have to choose their preferred college and the degree they wish to study and lock their choices. Once the choice is locked by the students, it cannot be changed or modified under any circumstances. 

Step 3 - Seat Allotment

After the choice filling and locking round is over, students have to wait for the seat allotment round. APDHTE releases the seat allotment list based on the student’s choice and the NEET state merit list of Arunachal Pradesh on its official website. From the “Select Willingness Tab”, candidates can choose “Floating” if they want to withdraw from their allotted colleges and participate in the next round or choose “Freeze” if they wish to accept their allotted college. 

Step 4 - Collecting the Nomination Letter

After accepting their allotted college in the state NEET counselling of Arunachal Pradesh 2024, candidates will have to collect a nomination letter from the Directorate of Medical Education Training and Research, Naharlagun for the admission process. Failing to do so, the seats will be declared unoccupied and will be made available in the next counselling round. In order to procure the nomination letter, applicants need to visit documents like government approved IDs, address and age proof, NEET 2024 passing proof, etc.
