Assam ITI Choice Filling 2022 – The Round 1 choice filling process for ITI admission in Assam for 2022 will start from August 20, 2022. The last date for choice filling is also out. Candidates who have been included in the Assam ITI rank list will be allowed to fill the choices. The candidates must note that he/ she must check the detailed guidelines or instructions pertaining to Assam ITI choice filling 2022 here. Based on the choices filled by the candidates, the admission authority will release the seat allotment result. Assam ITI both government and private admission is conducted by the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training under the Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department which comes under Government of Assam.

Important Instructions about Assam ITI Choice Filling 2022

The important instructions pertaining to Assam ITI choice filling 2022 can be checked below –

Limit on No. of Choices

There is no limit on the number of choices to be filled by the candidate. The candidates are advised to fill in as many choices as possible for better admission chances.

Eligibility for Choice Filling

Only those candidates who have been included in the rank list are eligible for choice filling

Visibility of Trades and Colleges

The list of trades and colleges will be visible as per the candidates’ educational qualifications. For example, a candidate cannot see the list of courses for which Mathematics and English are mandatory if he/ she fails in the HSSC exam.

Assam ITI Choice Filling Process 2022

The choice filling process for Assam ITI admission 2022 can be checked below –

Step 1

The candidates will have to visit the official website – itiassam.nic.in

Step 2

The candidates will have to log in with a Login ID, Password, and Security Pin.

Step 3

Click on the ‘Fill Choices’ option, and you can see two boxes –

  • Left Box – Total No. of Choices Available as per candidate’s eligibility
  • Right Box – Total No. of Choices Filled by the Candidate

Step 4

Select the choice from the left box and click on ‘Add’. Your choice selection will be displayed in the Right Box.

Step 5

The candidates will have to ‘Add’ college/ course one by one.

Step 6

The candidates can ‘Move’ the choices upward or downward as per his/ her priority

Step 7

After filling in the choices, click on ‘Save Choice’ or ‘Save and Exit’

Step 8

The candidates can edit the choices within the specified deadline.

Note: It is mandatory to save choices. Candidates who fail to save the choices will not be eligible for seat allotment.

Process after Choice Filling 

After the choice filling process concludes, the admission authority will announce the seat allotment results. The candidates will have to download the seat allotment letter from the website, pay the fee, and confirm admission.
