DU Admission 2024: National Testing Agency will release the CUET 2024 registration in February 2024. Delhi University Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BA, BCom, and BSc courses offered by the University of Delhi and its affiliated colleges can be checked below. Candidates who satisfy the below CUET 2024 eligibility criteria can submit the online application for CUET DU admission 2024.

  • Students from different fields such as science or arts who are applying to commerce programme will have the disadvantage of 5% marks in the best four subject evaluation.

  • The business Mathematics subject will be on par with the BCom course.

BCom (H)

Class 12 (any stream) from a recognized board

45% in the passing exam

  • The percentage will be calculated for one language and three elective subjects (including mathematics and excluding vocational subjects)

  • Business Mathematics subject will be on par with the B.Com Honours Programme.

  • The inclusion of more than one non-listed elective in the top four subjects will add a disadvantage of 2.5 % marks.

BSc (H)

Class 12 (any stream) from a recognized board

55% (including PCM/ PCB in the top four subjects)

  • It is also important to score at least 50% marks in English as a compulsory paper.

BA

Class 12 (any stream) from a recognised board

45% in the passing/ qualifying exam

  • Candidates who have applied for language courses will get an advantage of 2.5% if they have studied that language as an elective.

  • 2.5% marks will be deducted if candidates have studied the language as a functional subject.

  • Candidates passing class 12 with two or three vocational courses may be eligible.

  • Students from different fields such as science or commerce who are applying to arts programme will have the disadvantage of 5% marks in the best four subject evaluation.

  • Legal studies elective will be considered at par with the BA Political Science Programme.

  • Mass Media subjects elective will be considered at par with Bain Journalism (Hindi & English)

DU Admission 2024 Seats

Seats for UG Admission at Delhi University

  • The DU admission process 2024 for UG courses is expected to start in June/July 2024

  • All the candidates will have to fill out the CUET 2024 application form to get admission to UG courses at DU

  • The test will be conducted for the courses as chosen by the candidates

  • The candidates will have to clear the entrance test to get a seat for admission at DU

DU Application Form 2024

The candidates need to fill the CUET application form 2024 for DU admission 2024 in BCom, BSc, and BA courses. Check below it will help you understand how to get admission in DU:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET 2024 https://cuet.samarth.ac.

Step 2: Now, click on the register button and provide the required information like personal details, email id, and mobile no and create a password for the registration.

Step 3: Once the registration is done, the system will generate an application number and will send it to the registered mobile no. and email address.

Step 4: Candidates need to further log in using the application number and password to proceed to the next stage of the application process.

Step 5: Log in with the application number and password.

Step 6: Enter personal details, address, academic qualifications, select test papers, examination cities, desired courses, and universities. A candidate can select up to 3 test centres for the CUET exam 2024.

Step 7: Next comes the uploading section. Candidates need to upload scanned photographs, signatures, and category certificates (if required). All these documents along with the others should be uploaded as per the size recommended by NTA.

Step 8: Candidates should ensure all the application data they provide are correct and all the documents asked for are uploaded.

Step 9: Once the application form is properly filled in, pay the CUET 2024 application fees. The fees should be paid through credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. Ensure the account has sufficient balance before paying the fees.

Step 10: On the successful payment, the screen will show a confirmation page. A printout of this confirmation page must be taken for future reference.

Note: The application fees once remitted can not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates can contact NTA or the university through their websites or mail id regarding application issues.

Important Instructions for DU Application Form 2024

Some of the important instructions related to DU application form 2024 are listed below:

  • The signature & photographs should be in the form of a scanned PDF.

  • The size of the file should be less than 200-300 kb.

  • The students must upload their 10th certificate which must be scanned.

  • The caste certificate must be uploaded in PDF format.

  • The candidates who belong to EWS and OBC NCL categories must also upload their income certificates.
