CSIR NET Life Science Exam Analysis 2024 (Shift 1)

Overall the CSIR NET Life Science exam was moderate. Part A, the general aptitude paper was easy to moderate whereas Part B & Part C were moderately difficult in comparison to the previous session. The questions were asked from  Evolution, Genetics, Cell Bio, Light reaction, Bacterial Genetic Mapping, Adaptations of Plants in Shade, Hardy Weinberg questions, etc. The expected cut-off will remain the same as the previous year as the difficulty level of the exam was moderate. There were no changes in the exam pattern.

  • Amit stated, "Part A was tougher according to me, I have not attempted many questions from Part A. However, Parts B and C were a little bit difficult. There were no changes in the exam pattern.

CSIR NET Life Science Exam Analysis 2024 (Shift 2)

The difficulty level of the second shift for CSIR NET Life Science was moderate. The questions were asked about ecology, evolution, vascular tissue, endoplasmic reticulum, plant physiology, etc. Part A, the general aptitude section was easy and the questions were calculative.
