CUET 2021 Exam Day Guidelines: Things allowed on Exam Day, Online Test Guidelines

CUET is a common entrance exam conducted by Christ University. CUET 2021 Session 3 will be held on June 19, 2021. The exam is conducted for admission to many of the programs offered by Christ University, such as BA English (Honours), BSc Data Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, BBA in Business Analytics, Bachelor of Hotel Management, Bachelor of Computer Applications and BBA in Tourism and Travel Management.
Candidates who are appearing for the exam may fill the application form of CUET available on the official website of Christ University. This year, the exam will be conducted in the Internet-Based Test mode and candidates will have to appear for the test from their homes. CUET 2021 Exam Day Instructions
Here are the exam day instructions for CUET 2021.
Candidates should join the test at least 30 mins before the scheduled time to avoid any kind of delays due to technical glitches.
Candidates are advised to sit in front of the webcam connected to/ of the laptop or computer in such a way that Proctor should be able to see them clearly and observe their entire activity.
Candidates should start attempting the first question within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time of the exam.
They should ensure that all the other software/ applications or windows are closed before the start of the exam.
Candidates should note that Artificial Intelligence proctoring is enabled in the exam. The exam will be automatically locked if there is a breach of threshold in the code of conduct by the exam aspirant.
The AI software installed in the exam is capable of tracking the navigation between the test windows, eye movements and any other application running on the computer. The test portal will capture both the video and audio of the exam.
Candidates are advised to read all the instructions provided on the question paper to know how to answer the questions.
Note that 1 mark will be provided for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer in the exam. Also, there will not be any marking for unanswered questions.
Time alerts will be provided at regular intervals during the exam. However, candidates are advised to manage their time on their own.
The presence of another person other than the applicant during the exam will be treated as malpractice.

Things Allowed on CUET 2021 Exam Day
Candidates should note that they will have to show a copy of admit card issued by the University for verification during the exam.
They will also have to show an ID issued by the State or Central Government. Candidates can show Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence or any other government-issued ID card during the exam.
Candidates are also required to have a working Mic and webcam enabled Computer or Laptop with good internet connectivity and power backup for taking up the online test.

Things Not Allowed on CUET 2021 Exam Day
Candidates should note that some of the items included Subject Text Books, Study Notes or any other written sheets, Formula Sheets, Scientific Calculator or any other electronic gadget are prohibited during the exam.
Candidates are not allowed to use headphones, cell phones, earbuds or any other type of listening equipment during the exam.
