Candidates are admitted to B.Sc. (UG) programs based on their performance on qualifying exams. Candidates who would like to take UG admission in the Central University of Himachal Pradesh must have appeared for CUET exam which is administered by NTA. The Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees through its 11 academic colleges and numerous study departments. The CUHP offers over 45 courses in a variety of disciplines, including sciences, arts, management, technology, business administration, social work, education, hospitality and travel, and many others. The university confers the following degrees: MSc, MA, MBA, BA, BVSc, MPhil, and PhD. Other than Economics, all other courses will require CUET UG 2025 scores for admission to CUHP.
CUHP provides undergraduate degrees in BSc, BA, BFA, and B Voc. Except for the BFA program, which lasts 8 semesters, all other undergraduate programs last 6 semesters. The BSc and BA programs require 140 UG credits to complete the degree. The BFA program, on the other hand, requires 192 UG credits, whereas the B Voc program requires 180 UG credits.
The Central University of Himachal Pradesh accepts only online applications. CUHP admits students based on both merit and entrance examination. Except for the BFA and B Lib I Sc courses, Central University of Himachal Pradesh UG admission is based on Class 12 examination results. CUHP UG 2025 Important Details
The following is important information about the Central University of Himachal Pradesh 2025 application process.
Online applications should be submitted via websites.
To obtain a registration number and password, candidates must complete the application form completely.
The online application fee is Rs. 500 for UG programs and certificate courses for all categories. For self-financing courses and programs, the application form fee for all categories of candidates is Rs. 1000. Application fee is non-refundable.
CUHP UG 2025 Admission Process through CUET
Undergraduate students are admitted to CUHP based on their performance on the qualifying exam. Admission to certain undergraduate degree programmes will be based on the CUET 2025 entrance exam score.
