DCE Rajasthan UG Admission Process 2021

The admission to UG programs at Rajasthan is done through a centralized process on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The DCE Rajasthan UG Admission Process 2021 will go through the following steps:

1. The admission authorities will release the merit list on the official website which will consist of the names of all the applicants who have been shortlisted for the CAP process.

2. Before each round of counseling, the admission authorities will release the Category Wise Seat Matrix for colleges consisting of information about institutes, courses offered, Sanctioned intake, and the number of seats available for each category.

3. Before the counseling process, the candidates who are listed in the merit list will have to log in to the portal and enter their choice of colleges & courses for admission. The candidates are advised to exercise as many options as they can to increase their chances of admission. The candidates will also have to save their choices filled.

4. The admission authority will release the Provisional Allotment of CAP Round I which will indicate the seats allotted to the candidates. 

5. The candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round will have to choose from Freeze, Float, Slide option to confirm their seats.

Freeze: Select this option if you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you and want to confirm the seat.

Float: Select this option if you are satisfied with the college you have been allotted but you want to participate in the subsequent rounds for a better discipline in the same college.

Slide: Select this option if you are satisfied with the seat allotted but you want to participate in the subsequent rounds to get better seats.

1. After CAP round I, the admission authority will release the vacant list for subsequent rounds along with the provisional allotment list.

2. The same process will be followed for all the rounds.

3. The candidates who have confirmed their seats for admission will have to report to the Institute, pay the admission fee, and get their documents verified after which they will be provided admission.
