What is the minimum rank for IIT?
Generally, a score of at least 90 percentile is required for admission into any of the top IITs. A JEE Mains score can be somewhere between 230 and 250. Additionally, the candidate must achieve a rank of between 15,000 and 20,000 to secure their seats across the top IITs.
What percentile in JEE Advanced is required for IIT?
The percentage required for IIT is 75 percent for candidates belonging to General and OBC-NCL. And 65 percent for the candidates belonging to the categories such as SC, ST, and PwD.
Is 70 a good score in JEE Advanced 2024?
In order to get a seat in IITs, candidates must have at least 20-30 marks more than the cutoff. This year, the expected cutoff would be around 90-92. This is a predicted cutoff and the actual cutoff may vary. Hence it is a difficult task to get into IIT with 70 marks.
