GATE 2025: IIT Roorkee is going to conduct the GATE exam 2025 on February 1, 2, 15, and 16. The paper-wise GATE 2025 exam dates have been announced on the official website. The mode of the GATE 2025 exam is online, and the total number of subject papers is 30. The GATE application form 2025 correction's last date for PwD students is November 22, 2024. The facility to add GATE Secondary paper 2025 was activated gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Students could specify the name of the secondary paper they wish to sit for from the GATE two-paper combination list. GATE admit card 2025 will be issued on January 2, 202,4 to the successfully registered students. The GATE score of 2025 will be valid for 3 years for taking admission to M.Tech courses or applying for PSU recruitment. GATE result 2025 will be released on March 19, 2025. Various PSUs have commenced registration for recruitment through GATE score. 

The GATE exam in full form is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually by one of the seven IITs for admission to Postgraduate or Master’s degree programs in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Technology, and Humanities. GATE 2025 Exam Dates (Out)

Like every year, the GATE exam 2025 will be conducted in the first and second weekend of February. The paper-wise exam schedule will be out soon. The entrance examination will be held in two shifts across multiple cities in India and abroad. GATE 2025 Shift 1 exam will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while Shift 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

GATE 2025 Application Form Correction

The GATE 2025 application form correction started on October 31; the last date to edit GATE registration form 2025 has been extended to November 22, 2024, for PwD students. Earlier IIT Roorkee extended the GATE application form correction process to November 10, 2024. The application correction link is available on the GOAPS portal. The GATE 2025 form correction facility allows you to update the following details:

• Change in Name
• Change in exam cities.
• Change of current paper
• Change in Date of Birth
• Add a second paper (from specified combinations relative to the first paper)
• Change from female to any other gender.
• Change in categorization to SC/ST
• Change of gender to female.
• Change in category from SC/ST to any other
• Details of parents/guardians/correspondence address
• Any other change in category (not mentioned earlier)
• Change from PwD/Dyslexic to Non-PwD/Dyslexic.
• Change of college name and location, roll number, and registration number.

How To Edit GATE Application Form 2025?

Students must follow the guidelines for GATE application form correction listed below:

Step 1: Visit the online GATE website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Step 2: Enter your login information, such as Enrolment ID/Email Address and Password.

Step 3: Enter the captcha and then click the "Submit" button.

Step 4: Now, correct your application and make the necessary modifications.

Step 5: Don't forget to print out the application for later usage.

GATE 2025 Application Form

GATE registrations 2025 with late fees was extended to October 11, 2024. The registration process for GATE is conducted through online mode, i.e., GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) portal. Students can get an overview of the GATE 2025 application process below.

Step 1: Online Registration through GOAPS

• Students must first register through the GOAPS 2025 portal by entering their full name, valid email ID, mobile number, country of residence etc.

• They must choose a unique password for future login. A system-generate OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address for verification.

• Students must use the same to complete the registration process and get their unique GATE enrollment ID.

Step 2: Login and Application Form Fill Out 

• Registered students can log in with their ID and password to access the GATE application form 2025. They must fill in personal details, such as father’s name, mother’s name, nationality, date of birth, permanent address, photo ID number and type etc. along with educational qualifications, marks and grades obtained from 10+2 till Graduation.

• Next, students must select the desired GATE 2025 paper they wish to opt for and choose up to three GATE exam centres 2025 from the list provided. The test centres must be selected in order of preference. The first two exam centres must be selected from the same zone while the third one can be from any regional zones.

Step 3: Uploading of Documents

The next step of the GATE 2025 application process involves uploading scanned images of the student’s recent passport photograph and signature along with relevant certificates. Students must ensure that the documents are uploaded in the size and format prescribed by the GATE authority.

Step 4: GATE Application Fee Payment

After uploading the necessary documents, students must proceed to pay the GATE application fee 2025 via online mode. The fee amount varies according to the student’s category and can be paid using Net banking/ Debit card/ Credit card facilities. Students can check the probable GATE 2025 registration fee below.

Step 5: Final Review of GATE Application Form 2025

After the payment of the application fee, students must review the GATE registration form 2025 one last time and verify all the details. They must submit the GATE 2025 application form and save a copy of the same for future reference.

GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

GATE 2025 Syllabus
