GATE 2025 Biomedical Engineering: IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE Biomedical Engineering exam 2025 on February 15, 2025, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Biomedical Engineering (BM) is one of the papers being conducted for GATE. List of Two Paper Combinations for GATE 2025 Biomedical Engineering

Here is the two-paper combination list for GATE Biomedical Engineering (BM) as released by IIT Roorkee. Candidates taking the GATE 2025 BM discipline must select one of the following two papers as their preferred second paper combination.

Total Number of Candidates Appeared for GATE Biomedical Engineering: Past Trends

One of the least opted GATE papers, Biomedical Engineering sees less than 2000 candidates appearing each year. Although 2345 fresh registrations were submitted in 2024, the total number of candidates who appeared for the GATE BM paper was 1860. In the year 2023, the numbers were even lower with only 1444 out of 1809 applicants sitting for the exam. GATE Biomedical Engineering Qualifying Trends Over the Years

Despite having a low number of takers, the GATE Biomedical Engineering remains one of the toughest papers to crack due to the high competition and limited seat intake. The year 2024 saw only 124 out of 1860 candidates passing the exam. Out of 1444 appearing candidates, only 140 qualified the GATE BM exam in 2023.
