List of Two Paper Combinations for GATE 2025 Civil Engineering

Candidates choosing the GATE Civil Engineering (CE) paper can opt for any one of the following subjects as their second paper combination. The entire list of GATE two paper combination has been updated by IIT Roorkee on the official website.

GATE Civil Engineering Qualifying Trends Over the Years

Civil Engineering being one of the toughest and most competitive papers in GATE, sees approximately 15000 candidates qualifying the exam. In 2024, only 16604 out of the 85869 appeared candidates managed to qualify GATE CE paper. In 2023, the number of qualified candidates were 15785. GATE 2025 Civil Engineering Marking Scheme

GATE 2025 Civil Engineering exam will award negative marking for each incorrect MCQ. However, the marks deducted will be different for different questions. The deduction score is based on the mark weightage of the particular MCQ. Read the following table to understand the GATE 2025 Civil Engineering marking scheme:
