GATE 2025 Physics Exam Pattern
The GATE 2025 Physics exam pattern slightly differs from other core engineering subjects. Even though candidates are provided with the same amount of time and number of questions, the GATE 2025 Physics question paper only contains two sections, General Aptitude and Physics.
The GATE 2025 Physics exam will be conducted online mode (computer-based test) and login credentials will be shared with the candidates. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the questions will be asked in English. The GATE 2025 PH question paper will have 65 questions worth of 100 marks. There will be negative markings for incorrect answers given for MCQs.

GATE 2025 Physics Marking Scheme
GATE 2025 Physics question paper will have a total of 65 questions, the questions will carry 1 and 2 marks. There will mainly be three kinds of questions, including multiple-choice, multiple-selection, and numerical answer type questions. The GATE 2025 PH exam pattern doesn’t provide for any partial marking for multiple selection questions (MSQs). However, there will be negative markings for incorrect MCQ answers.
