GATE COAP 2025: The GATE 2025 COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) is a platform where applicants can view the results and seat allotments made by participating IITs and IISc Bangalore for admission to PG engineering programs. The GATE COAP 2025 registration is expected to begin in late March 2025 following the announcement of the GATE 2025 result and cutoff scores. The counselling organizing authorities will release the information brochure for COAP 2025 which will list the important dates and eligibility criteria for the GATE COAP 2025 counselling process. Several PSUs will be able to put up the offers within a specified time, and all those students who successfully register for COAP 2025 counselling will be able to see these offers and make their choices accordingly. 

During COAP 2025 counselling, students will be required to register and choose the programs and institutes to which they wish to apply. Additionally, there will be no COAP registration fees. The GATE counselling 2025 will be conducted via the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and the Centralised Counselling for M.Tech/M.Des (CCMT). Participants seeking GATE admission to IITs will be required to register for COAP; however, for NITs and IIITs, CCMT counseling is held.

What is COAP? 

COAP stands for Common Offer Acceptance Portal, and it is a website where all of the GATE 2025 participating IITs and ISc Bangalore announce their seat allocation results. Applicants with a valid GATE score are required to register online at the COAP portal along with the institute for admission to M.Tech courses at any of the participating IITs or ISc Bangalore. The CCMT site is used to apply for M.Tech programs at NITs and GFTIs. Applicants must verify their seat allotment status and accept or reject the seat via the COAP site.

Eligibility Criteria of GATE COAP 2025

In order to be considered for admission, each applicant must meet a number of prerequisites and requirements. Applicants whose applications do not match the eligibility criteria are likely to be rejected. Before applying for GATE COAP 2025, participants should review the eligibility requirements.

1. To apply for COAP, applicants must have a valid GATE score from the years 2025, 2024, or 2023.
2. Applicants who have more than one legitimate GATE score must input the highest score upon registration, but data regarding the other scores will be requested as well.
3. If you have a GATE score of 2025 on more than one paper, you must give information on all of your results.
4. Applicants must meet the requirements set out by the institute to which they are applying.
5. Applicants must hold Indian Nationality.

COAP 2025 Registration Process

The detailed registration process for GATE COAP 2025 is as follows -

1. Registration

The first stage in the COAP 2025 process is registration, and the applicants will be able to register themselves through the official website of COAP.

The students will have to read the instructions and detailed procedure before proceeding with actual registration. This will help the students to complete the registration process without hassle.

2. Accept Terms of Instructions

After reading the procedures and terms, the applicants will have to accept the terms and instructions. Without accepting the terms and conditions.

3. Fill Details

The registration form will be displayed, and the applicants will have to fill out the following details-

2. Registration Number of GATE 2025

3. GATE 2025 Score

4. Date of Birth (DOB)

5. Personal E-Mail ID

6. Personal Mobile Number

5. Login

The students will now receive log-in information via e-mail/ SMS. The students will have to log in and verify his/her registration details.

6. Additional GATE Score (If any)

If you have an additional GATE score, you will be able to add the same after logging in. Please note that you will only be allowed to enter the last three years’ GATE score.

7. View Job/ Admission Offer

After the complete registration process is done, you can either view the job offer or admission offer (if any) on the portal.

COAP 2025: Additional Rounds

Additional rounds 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 will be independent, and each will be classified as a Decisive Round. In these rounds, applicants will only have two options: 'Accept and Freeze' and 'Reject'.

As per the norms, the applicants will have to visit the official website for offer acceptance. The stages involved in this process are as follows -

GATE COAP 2025 Important Instructions

Applicants can check the important guidelines regarding the GATE COAP 2025 below: 

• COAP stands for Common Offer Acceptance Portal, and all Participating Institutes / PSUs will upload their offers during a set time range.
• After completing COAP registration 2025 with a valid GATE Number, applicants must provide the extra qualified GATE Registration Number while logging into the site for the first time.
• After completing your registration, the user ID will be delivered to your registered email address and an SMS to your registered cellphone number. Furthermore, passwords will be supplied by email, which may take some time due to a network issue with the service provider. If you do not receive the password right away, please be patient.
• If you have several qualified GATE registration numbers and are unable to enter the qualified GATE registration numbers from previous years in COAP, this might be due to a discrepancy in information (Name and Date of Birth) between GATE years. You must verify your name and date of birth on all GATE admission cards from various years, and then write to us in detail about the problem, including your name, date of birth, and registration number year-wise in the email.
• Please allow a couple of working days to resolve your issues.
• COAP registration is entirely free. The participating institutes have made it essential to include a COAP registration number on their M.Tech application portals.
