Goa NEET UG Merit List 2024 was published by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Goa on August 29, 2024. As per the latest updates, the spot round counselling registration process has concluded on October 29, 2024. The Goa NEET UG Merit List 2024 for round 2 was released in a PDF format, in online mode for all the registered candidates for the MBBS course and BDS course. As per the latest updates, GOA spot counselling round admissions have commenced on November 12, 2024, for the first round, and the second round of admissions will be held on November 22, 2024. Further, the last round of Goa NEET UG Spot round counselling admissions will be conducted on November 28, 2024. Document Verification for Goa NEET UG Merit List 2024

The official Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Goa, conducts the registration process for the counselling process once the Goa NEET UG Merit List 2024 is released. During this period, all eligible candidates are required to participate in the document verification process conducted by the state authority, followed by the final rounds of MBBS/BDS admission. Candidates are also allocated their respective document verification centres during this process, which are essentially their preferred choice of medical institute. Thus, all the major documents that candidates must produce during Goa NEET 2024 Counselling are listed below:

Goa NEET Merit List 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria

In a situation where two or more candidates have scored the same NEET 2024 marks, a tie-breaking criteria has been established. As per the recent notification by National Medical Commission (NMC), the NEET 2024 Tie Breaking Criteria has been revised. Thus, given below is the revised Goa NEET Merit List 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria : 

  • Candidates with higher percentile score in Biology will be preferred over others followed by Chemistry and Physics respectively. 
  • If the tie still exists, students with an overall lesser number of incorrect answers will be given the preference followed by a lesser number of incorrect answers in Biology, Chemistry and Physics respectively.

After Goa NEET UG Merit List 2024 PDF is published, the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education activates the online registration portal for Goa MBBS/BDS Counselling 2024. All candidates are required to participate in Choice-Filling during the Counselling process, based on which they will be allotted their desired medical college for admission.
