Goa Polytechnic Admissions 2023: The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa had conducted the admission process from June 22 to 28, 2023. Admission to Goa polytechnic courses is done on the basis of class 10 or equivalent examination results. There are no entrance exams conducted for the same. Based on their SSC/HSC results, the DTE Goa compiles a merit list of all registered candidates. Candidates whose names appear on the Goa polytechnic admissions merit list will be considered for admission. Seats in Goa polytechnic participating institutions are allocated through centralized counselling, which will take place at the DTE Goa office/designated centers. There are various polytechnic courses offered in the fields of Engineering/Technology, Hotel Management, and Pharmacy in the State.

Merit-based Admission
Admission to Goa Polytechnic is merit-based. It depends on the marks obtained in the academic subjects in SSC. The candidates who are shortlisted for the course must report to the Admission Centre (DTE) in person for admission rounds. They must carry with them the acknowledgment cum admit card, documents in original, and fees. Candidates who complete the SSC examination must also show the Certificates from the qualifying board.
The decision of the Admission Committee and the Director of Technical Education is final. The Director of Technical Education reserves the right to modify application schedules as per the need.

To apply for the Goa diploma admissions 2023 candidates should fulfill all the factors of the eligibility criteria like educational qualification, minimum marks, required subjects, etc. The following are the eligibility criteria for Goa polytechnic admissions:
Educational Qualifications

- The minimum percentage for Pharmacy courses is 35% in the HSSC (Science) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics as compulsory subjects
- Candidates must have passed the ITI certificate after passing SSC, from Industrial Training Institutes in Goa, under the State Directorate of Craftsman Training

Goa Polytechnic Counselling 2023
Those candidates who are shortlisted on the merit list are contacted for a Goa Polytechnic counselling session. The shortlisted candidates are called at the DTE, Goa admission center. Candidates must bring their admit card, original documents, and fees. In the Goa diploma counselling, the candidates' documentation are verified and they are able to select a course and a college based on their qualifying marks. Seats are assigned to candidates in the counselling process based on their exam scores, choice filling, and document verification.
