What is a Good Score in GATE Chemical Engineering 2024?: IISc Bangalore has released the GATE scorecard 2024 on March 23, 2024. Earlier,IISc Bangalore released the GATE result 2024 on March 16, at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. A score between 70 to 75 is termed as good score in GATE Chemical Engineering exam. Students with a good score in GATE 2024 Chemical Engineering stand a high chance of securing seats in the top IITs, NITs, and other GATE participating college 2024. What is a GATE Score 2024?

The GATE score of a candidate is calculated using a formula out of 1000, whereas the marks of a candidate are the actual number received in the test out of 100. Qualified students' GATE results show their GATE score as well as their marks. Actual marks received by applicants are utilized to calculate the GATE Score for all papers with only one session. Normalized marks are used to calculate the GATE score for papers in multi-sessions.  GATE 2024 results are utilized by institutes to give admission to postgraduate engineering programs, as well as by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to shortlist individuals for employment.

 The GATE 2024 score will be computed as per the shown formulae. 

What is a Good Score in GATE Chemical Engineering 2024?

As per GATE Chemical Engineering 2022 data, the highest marks scored out of 100 was 89.97. Henceforth the cutoff for general category was 30.4, for OBC/ NCL/ EWS category was 27.3, and for the academic year 2021 the general category cutoff was 35.10, OBC/NCL/EWS category was 31.5 and SC/ST/PWD was 23.4.
