Entrance Exams for Gujarat M.Tech Admission 2024
Admission to M.Tech courses offered at various colleges in the state of Gujarat is considered on the basis of the GATE 2024 scorecard of the relevant discipline. Those who do not have a valid GATE scorecard can apply through Gujarat PGCET 2024 scorecard.
First preference is given to candidates who have a valid GATE scorecard for M.Tech Admission. To fill the remaining seats in the M.Tech course, the PGCET scorecard is used.
Admission is granted to those candidates whose names are displayed in the merit list prepared by ACPC.
Once the merit list is prepared, the candidates will have to get their documents verified at the defined Admission centre through the counselling round. Candidates can select the choices of courses and institutes/ colleges online according to their preference to get admission in the desired course and institute.
Gujarat M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech course at a government, grant-in-aid and self-financed institution in Gujarat must meet the following eligibility criteria: -
The candidate must hold an engineering degree in a relevant discipline
He/ She must have scored 50% marks in the qualifying examination
The candidate must have scored qualifying marks in GATE in the relevant discipline
In case the candidate does not have a valid GATE scorecard, the candidate can appear in PGCET conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat

Release of Provisional Merit List
ACPC first released a Gujarat PGCET merit list for candidates who are eligible for the counselling process.
Gujarat PGCET Mock Round
Candidates who were shortlisted for Gujarat PGCET 2024 counselling have to participate in a mock round. Applicants had to fill out the Gujarat PGCET choice filling form 2024 on the official website. The seat allotment result will be released at the login window. Candidates can access the Gujarat PGCET mock round results using their login credentials. Candidates can use Gujarat PGCET 2024 mock round counselling to have an idea of the cut-offs at various colleges before the actual round is declared.
Gujarat PGCET Counselling Rounds
ACPC completed the Gujarat PGCET 2024 counseling for COE in two phases. Candidates with a valid GATE score or Gujarat PGCET score are eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. The counselling process consists of registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and acceptance of seats.
Gujarat PGCET 2024 Choice Filling
Candidates in the official Gujarat PGCET counselling process have the chance to edit/delete/add/modify the selections they made in the mock round. To change the selections they made in the mock round, applicants must log in using their credentials.
Gujarat PGCET Seat Allotment 2024
The Gujarat PGCET 2024 seat allotment will be released on the official website. Candidates have to confirm their seat by submitting a token fee of Rs. 2000. Students that will be assigned seats need to download the admission letter. The admission letter is available under the seat allotment option. Furthermore, candidates must report to the designated institutes with the necessary documentation.
Nonpayment of the Token Tuition Fee
If an applicant fails to pay the counselling fees online, his or her nomination will be instantly terminated. Applicants who did not pay the fee will be entitled to participate in subsequent counselling sessions.
Gujarat PGCET Counselling 2024
After each round, candidates are given the option to reorder their preferences. ACPC conducts additional counselling rounds based on available seats at the specific institute. Applicants who moves to the next round can change their preferences based on the most recent seat matrix. After the results are declared, candidates must pay the fees online.
Gujarat PGCET Counselling 2024: Cancellation of Admission
To withdraw from the counselling process, candidates must click on "Cancel admission" from the login interface. To revoke the admission, applicants will get an OTP to their registered cellphone number. Once the candidate provides the OTP, the admission will be canceled.

Gujarat MTech Admission 2024: Documents Required
The following documents are required while applying for the Gujarat M.Tech admission-
- Passport-sized photographs
- School Leaving Certificate/ Date of Birth Proof
- Photocopy of Aadhar Card
- HSC Mark sheet
- Income certificate, if applicable
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- In-servicemen/ Ex-servicemen Category certificate, if applicable
ACPC Gujarat M.Tech Fees 2024
Candidates whose name appears in the merit list and his/ her admission is confirmed for M. Tech course in the Government or aided college or institution through Gujarat ACPC counselling shall have to make payment of fees for the course as determined by the Gujarat Admission Committee.
Those candidates who get admission in unaided colleges or institutions shall have to make payment of tuition fees determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee under section 9 of the Act.
The guidelines to make payment is given below:
1. Payment can be done online or in the branches of banks as defined by the committee.
2. Admission will be confirmed at the respective institute only after the tuition fees is paid successfully.
3. Candidates can log in to the ACPC account and take a print out of the admission slip for reference.
4. If in any case, the tuition fees are not paid within the time period allotted, the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled. Such a candidate cannot apply for the same course in the respective institute in the further rounds of admission.
5. Candidates whose admission gets cancelled after making payment of fees will receive a complete refund of fees after the completion of the admission process.
6. In case, the candidate gets admission in another course/ college/ institution after the payment of fees, he will only have to make payment for the difference of fees.
