Based on the official announcement made by NIFT, the second phase of the BDes course admission process, the NIFT Situation Test 2024, will take place in offline mode in March 2024. However, the authority has not communicated the exact date for the NIFT 2024 Situation Test yet. Applicants must sit for the PI admission round and take the General Ability Test (GAT) to be assessed for admission to the MFTech and MFM programmes at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). To apply for MDes programmes, candidates must first complete the written GAT and CAT tests. If chosen, they must then show up for the personal interview.

Conversely, candidates should not wear anything too tight, too revealing, or inappropriate for the exam day.

NIFT Entrance Exam: Weightage of Each Section

While practising at home, students should indulge in experimenting with multiple situations and models to test their ability to construct. This will also help them think differently while attempting in the final test and give a new shape to basic objects and tasks. 

# Make your personalised tool kit

Organize a tool kit for making a model with all the necessary things such as a geometry box, foot rulers in metal and plastic, a pair of scissors (both big and small), a paper-knife, glue stick, cello tape, paper pins, markers and others. 

# Practice using different types of materials

While preparing, it is suggested to practise with as many kinds of material as they can. Candidates must keep themselves oriented with different products that will be provided to them for the model making of the NIFT Situation Test and must also understand the use of each one of them. 

# Be aware of the basic materials
