ICSE Class 10 Sample Paper 2024: Highlights

• In the academic year 2023-24 as well, the ICSE board exams will be held only once a year. The board has reverted to the previous practice of conducting the exams once a year.
• The ICSE 10th exams will be conducted from February 21 to March 28, 2024. 
• The exams will be held for 2 hours and extra 15 minutes will be given to read the question paper. 
• The ICSE 10th exam 2024 will be conducted in an offline mode.
• In Groups I and II, the maximum marks for each subject will be 80 marks, and 20 marks will be given for internal assessment. While in Group III, 50 marks are allotted for the external exam, and 50 marks for the internal exam.

ICSE Class 10 Sample Papers are uploaded on the official website of the Council for Indian School Certificate (CISCE). The sample papers can be accessed by following the following set of instructions:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of CISCE at cisce.org.
• Step 2: Click on the Examination option and from the drop-down menu click on ICSE Examination
• Step 3: Now, scroll down and go to the Important Downloads section. 
• Step 4: Click on Specimen Question Papers.
• Step 5: On the new page, select your year and download the papers accordingly. 

ICSE Class 10 Marking Scheme 2024

• The duration of the exam will be two hours. 
• There will be a different number of questions for the different subjects. 
• The total marks allotted for each subject will be 100 which includes 80% for theory paper and 20% allocated for practical assessment. 
• The minimum passing mark is 33%. 
• The question paper will include MCQs, short answer type questions, and long answer type questions. 
• There will be no negative markings on the paper.
