How to Get Admission in Government Colleges with 550 Marks in NEET

To secure admission in top government medical colleges with 550 marks in NEET, students are required to participate in the NEET 2025 Counselling process. It is important to note that only students who successfully feature on the NEET UG Merit List will be deemed for participation in the NEET UG Counselling. The counselling process for medical course admission into government colleges with 550 marks in NEET will be conducted in multiple rounds based on the seat matrix, total number of participating colleges and number of students who took the entrance test. All qualified students are allotted seats at their desired government institutes based on their choices submitted in order of preference during the choice-filling process. 

The seat allotment list for each round of counselling is published separately, and students are required to submit the specified admission fee to confirm their seats at the allotted institutes. In case a student is dissatisfied with their seat allotment and wishes to reject their seats, they are eligible to do so and participate in the next round of counselling.
