IIT Gandhinagar shortlists candidates for M.Tech admission based on a written test and interview. Candidates who have successfully filled out the IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech application form will be invited for a written test and interview based on their academic records and/ or GATE score. The written test is generally based on topics related to general aptitude, engineering mathematics, and basic courses in various disciplines covered up to 3rd year of the undergraduate programme. Candidates opting for more than one discipline are required to submit a separate application for each discipline. Candidates will have to download the IIT Gandhinagar M.Tech application form and print it as a hardcopy of application form and self-attested copies of all the relevant documents need to be provided at the time of the interview.
