GATE registrations 2025 will begin from August 28, 2024, via the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. To complete the application, candidates need to fill in some important details related to their personal contact number, address, educational qualifications, date of birth and so on. The GATE 2025 registration process involves several stages, including candidate registration, document uploading, and payment of the application fee. The entire process is conducted online. To apply, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the official GATE 2025 information brochure, which is available on the website. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 26, 2024. For those applying after this date, a late fee of INR 500 will apply, with the final deadline being October 7, 2024.

• The face must be clear, without any obstructions like cloth, hats, sunglasses, etc., except for religious reasons

• The signature should be in black or dark blue ink.

• Size: 1 cm width × 2.75 cm height to 1 cm width × 3.75 cm height.

• File size: 3 KB to 1 MB.

• Format: JPG/JPEG.

• Pixel resolution: 250 x 80 to 580 x 180 pixels.

• Ensure the uploaded signature matches the one used during the examination to avoid disqualification.

Educational Degree Certificate Requirement:

• Upload details of your Educational Degree Certificate, Provisional Certificate, or a Certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute.

• Format: PDF.

• File size: 10 KB to 300 KB.

• Refer to Appendix A of the Information Brochure for specific requirements.

Photo Identity Document Requirement:

• Aadhaar-UID, Aadhaar Virtual ID, Government ID, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License.

• Bring the original ID along with the admit card to the examination center.

• The photo ID must clearly display your name, photo, ID number, and date of birth.

PwD Certificate Requirement:

• Provide a recent and government-authorized PwD category certificate.

• Benefits are available for candidates with a benchmark disability of at least 40% impairment, regardless of the type of disability.

• Specify any scribe requirements if applicable.

Certificate of Dyslexic Condition Requirements:

• Obtain a certificate from a recognized Dyslexia Association. Some associations include:
