ITM IDM BDes Eligibility Criteria 2024

Meeting the eligibility criteria for BDes at ITM IDM is mandatory for any candidate who wishes to be admitted to the course. Anyone who fails to meet the prerequisites that are set by the institute is not considered for admission by the authorities and their application forms are cancelled. • The student must have completed his/ her education up to the higher secondary level or its equivalent
• Candidates from all streams can apply for admission to the B.Des course at ITM IDM
• The school from which the student obtains his/ her class 12th degree must be affiliated with a recognised central or state board of education
• The aggregate marks scored by the candidate in his/ her class 12th board exams must not be less than 45 - 50%
• The applicant must have received passing marks in all the subjects that he/ she has at the 10 + 2 level

Step 1: Take the ITM-IDM Entrance Exam

The ITM-IDM Entrance Exam is divided into three sections:

• The Common Intelligence Test (CIT) is a two-hour online test that includes a personal interview, portfolio screening, and/or a situation test
• It should be noted that all three parts of the ITM-IDM entrance exam are held on the same day

Step 2: Review the ITM-IDM Entrance Exam Results

Candidates can check their ITM-IDM entrance exam 2024 results on the institute's official website according to the schedule. It should be noted, however, that candidates receive exam results via their registered email addresses. Candidates' cumulative performance in CIT, personal interview, portfolio screening, and/or a situation test determines their ITM-IDM entrance exam results. ITM-IDM Entrance Exam Syllabus 2024

The syllabus for the ITM IDM Common Intelligence Test (CIT) includes topics such as basic mathematics and quantitative ability, general history, basic physics, language ability, and so on. The portfolio screening and/or a situation test, on the other hand, focuses on Articulation Skills, Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking & Creative Problem Solving, Awareness of Design Principles, and so on.
