JAC Delhi Application Form 2024: The JAC Delhi Application Form closed on June 24, 2024. The application form was released on May 31, 2024, in an online mode on the official website of the authority. The Delhi Joint Admission Counselling Committee organizes JAC Delhi annually to grant candidates admissions based on JEE Main 2024 scores. Hence candidates need to confirm their eligibility before applying for JAC Delhi 2024. Candidates must pay a registration fee of INR 1500/- before applying for JAC Delhi 2024. Candidates are given the option to lock their choices after making a payment before they are assigned seats for JAC Delhi 2024 based on the choices filled by them and their scores in JEE Main 2024. All qualified candidates would be expected to participate in the committee's six-round JAC Delhi 2024 seat allocation procedure. A spot round will be conducted later to fill the vacant seats, and this round will require fresh registration.

Every year, the Joint Admission Counselling Committee (JAC), Delhi conducts counselling to provide admission to B.Tech/ BE and B.Arch degrees at 4 technical institutes of Delhi based on JEE Main. These institutes include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT). Before filling out the JAC Delhi Application Form 2024, the candidates need to learn about the complete process so that they do not make a mistake while registering. The step-by-step instructions to fill out the application form are given below:

Step 1: Application Fee Payment

To start filling out the JAC Delhi Application Form 2024, the candidates will have to pay the registration and counselling fee of INR 1500. Additional Transaction Charges for Credit / Debit Cards are 1.00% of the transaction amount plus Service Tax as applicable and Internet Banking is INR 10/- plus Service Tax as applicable. The candidates can follow the given steps to pay the application fee -

1. Visit the official website

2. On the homepage, click on the link for Delhi JAC 2024 that points to the application form 

3. Enter your JEE Main application number and name (as on the admit card)

4. Enter your payment details to complete the payment

5. After the payment is done, return to the JAC registration page to begin filling out the JAC Delhi Application Form 2024

Step 2: Online Registration

Click on the link for new registration and fill in all the important details such as JEE Main 2024 application number, Date of Birth, class 12th result, contact details, etc. Furthermore, the candidates will also have to set a strong password and pick a security question.

Step 3: Logging In and Choice Filling

Upon successful registration, candidates proceed to complete their choices online, involving the selection of preferred courses and institutes. The choice-filling process considers candidates' eligibility, with available seats shown on the screen accordingly. Candidates prioritize and select choices based on personal preference. After filling in their choices, candidates receive a display of their selected seats. They have the option to adjust the order of their choices, moving them up or down as necessary. It's strongly advised that candidates maximize their choices by selecting as many preferences as possible. This ensures a broader range of options and increases the likelihood of securing admission to a desired course or institute. Therefore, candidates should carefully consider their selections to optimize their chances of successful placement.

Step 4: Choice Locking

After filling in the choices, the next step is to lock the filled choices. Make sure to cross-check all the details before locking your choices as they cannot be edited later.

Step 5: Form Submission

On successful completion of JAC Delhi Application Form 2024, download and store the form for future reference. The candidates will have to get the JAC Delhi Application Form signed by the parents and submit the duly filled form at the time of admission.

*Important Note: The candidates will be allowed to register at the start of each counselling round. However, the candidates who have registered later will not be eligible for the seats which have been already allotted to other candidates.

Candidates who are filling out the JAC Delhi Application Form 2024 are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of INR 1500/- (including transaction charges). Without paying the registration fee, no candidate will be allowed to fill out the JAC Delhi Application Form 2024. The candidates can pay the application fee via Netbanking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. The application fee for JAC Delhi can be paid using the JEE Main details (application number and name on the admit card).

What After JAC 2024 Delhi Application Form?

After JAC Delhi Application Form 2024, the candidates have to take part in the counselling process where they will be allotted seats based on their rank in JEE Main, choice filled by the candidates, and seat availability. The schedule and venue of the counselling have been published on the official website. The candidates who have registered for JAC Delhi 2024 will have to download the provisional allotment letter from the official website. At the reporting institutes, the candidates will have to submit the documents for verification and pay the fees for admission.
