The authorities release the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced along with the official information brochure. According to the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria, all the candidates applying for the exam must rank among the top 2,50,000 participants in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of the JEE (Main) 2025 exam (across all categories). The candidate's date of birth must have been on or after October 1, 1998. A candidate may attempt JEE Advanced no more than twice in each of the two succeeding years. A candidate must have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required courses while taking the Class 12 (or equivalent) exam for the first time in 2024 or 2025. Candidates who joined an IIT after having their admission to an IIT revoked (for any reason) are not eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.
How to Fill JEE Advanced Application Form 2025?
The application form of JEE Advanced 2025 will be released in the online mode tentatively on April 27, 2025. The last date to fill out the application form of JEE Advanced 2025 is expected to be May 7, 2025. The detailed process to fill out the JEE Advanced Application Form 2025 has been mentioned below.
Step 1 - Registration Procedure
Candidates are required to register through the online portal, i.e. jeeadv.nic.in by providing details such as the medium of the question paper language (English or Hindi), the choices of the examination centre etc. Candidates should provide the JEE Main Roll number, email address, Mobile number, and D.O.B to access the JEE Advanced application form. Candidates will have the option of adding another mobile number above the number given during JEE Main registration. The JEE Advanced 2025 result will be provided to the candidates on one of these numbers via text message.
Step 2 - Uploading of the Scanned Documents
After providing all the requisite information, the next step is to upload the scanned copies of the documents namely the Class 10th certificate as 'Date of Birth' proof, Class 12th Mark sheet and certificate, Category Certificate's (OBC-NCL certificate/SC/ST/PWD), Services scribe form letter, OCI certificate or PIO card and DS category certificate
Step 3 - Payment of JEE Advanced Registration Fee 2025
The JEE Advanced registration fee can be paid either online or offline. In online mode, the fee payment can be done through net banking or debit card only. In offline mode, the payment can be done through the SBI bank e-challan. The JEE Advanced registration fee is neither refundable nor transferable.
Step 4 - Downloading the JEE Advanced Registration Form 2025
After the successful payment of the JEE Advanced registration fee, the candidates must submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page.
