How many attempts in JEE Main 2025? - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the JEE Main 2025 twice - January and April. JEE Main 2025 exam dates are released and there will be two attempts for the academic year 2025. As per the schedule, JEE Mains session 1 exam date 2025 is January 22 to 31, 2025 and the session 2 exams will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025. The NTA has also released the JEE Main Application form 2025. on October  In total, JEE Main number of attempts is six times over three years. In one year, candidates can appear for JEE Main twice. Candidates will not be eligible to participate in JEE Main in the next sessions if they have participated in the previous year's counselling sessions and accepted seats. 

If the candidate has completed the Class 12 exam in 2024 or 2023, he or she is eligible to compete in the JEE Main 2025. The JEE Main syllabus 2025 is prepared in compliance with the Class 12 curriculum. If a candidate is currently taking the 12th board exam in 2025, he or she can take both sessions of JEE Main 2025. Advantages of JEE Main 2025 Two Attempts

Candidates can gain the following perks when attempting JEE Main 2025 two sessions:

  • If candidates are unsatisfied with their JEE Main 2025 first session results, they will be able to enhance their marks in the second try

Candidates must have secured at least 75% in the Class 12 examination. SC/ST candidates must score a minimum of 65%. Passing the subject eligibility criteria is also mandatory

Year of Appearance

Students taking JEE Main 2025 must have graduated from high school no earlier than 2020.

JEE Main 2025 Application Form Date for session 1 is October 28, 2024, in online mode at, jeemain.nic.in.
