NTA has published the syllabus of JEE Main 2022 both for paper 1 and paper 2. The aspirants can download the subject-wise PDF, which has been provided in this article.
JEE Main Syllabus 2022 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam twice a year, which is considered as one of the top engineering entrance exams of India. NTA has published the syllabus of JEE Main 2022 both for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The aspirants can download the subject-wise PDF, which has been provided in the following section. NTA did not bring any new changes to the JEE Main 2022 exam syllabus.

JEE Main 2022 Paper 1 syllabus comprises Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, and the topics are based on Class 11 and Class 12. Whereas, Paper 2A (B.Arch) comprises topics like General Aptitude, Mathematics, and Drawing, while Paper 2B (B.Planning) syllabus covers General Aptitude, Mathematics, and Planning related topics.

NTA will start negative marking for both the MCQs and numerical questions. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
This year, JEE Main 2022 exam will be held twice a year and both the phase 1 and phase 2 exams will be conducted in April and May 2022 respectively.
JEE Main 2022: Physics Syllabus
JEE Main 2022 Paper 1 (BE/ B.Tech) is further classified into three parts, such as Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- JEE Main 2022 Physics syllabus includes 21 topics/units. Check JEE Main Preparation Strategy 2022
- There will be two sections for each of the subjects: Section A (20 MCQs) and Section B (10 Numerical valued questions). In Section B, the aspirants will have to attend 5 questions out of 10 questions.

JEE Main 2022: Mathematics Syllabus
Similar to the JEE Main 2022 Physics syllabus, there will be two sections in Mathematics (Section A and Section B)-
- Section A will be consisting of Multiple Choice Questions
- The numerical valued questions will be asked in Section B
- The aspirants will have to answer 5 questions out of 10 questions
- JEE Main 2022 Mathematics syllabus is similar for B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning
- JEE Main B.E/B.Tech 2022 Mathematics section will consist of 100 marks questions
- Lastly, the JEE Main 2022 Mathematics section is the most time-consuming section compared to the other two sections.
