UP Polytechnic Admission 2024 (JEECUP): Counselling Dates, Choice Filling, Reporting
The JEE Council of UP counducts the JEECUP counselling in 5 rounds. The first four rounds of JEECUP Counselling has been conducted and the fifth round is ongoing, the seat allotments of which will be declared on Aug 28, 2024.
JEECUP 2024 Counselling - JEECUP 2024 counselling is being conducted in online mode. The JEECUP 2024 counselling session 1 is over and JEECUP round 5 counselling is being conducted. The Round 5 seat allotments will be released on Aug 28, 2024. The JEECUP Exam 2024 was conducted from June 13 to June 20, 2024 and the admit card for the same was released by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. JEECUP 2024 Counselling and Seat Allotment
The counselling process of JEECUP 2024 is being held online. The seat allotment result is released after each round. There are various steps that will be included in the JEECUP 2024 counselling process such as registration, fee payment, choice filling & locking, document verification, etc. Those who have qualified for the exam will first have to register for counselling.
JEECUP 2024 Counselling Procedure
The step-by-step process for JEECUP 2024 counselling is mentioned in detail below:

Step 1: Registration | Register for JEECUP Counselling 2024. Candidates will have to fill out the registration form using all the important details and generate a new password. |
Step 2: Fee Payment | After generating a new password and submitting the registration form, pay the JEECUP 2024 counselling fee to complete their registration. It is important for the candidates to read the complete terms & conditions before paying the counselling fee for JEECUP 2024 as the fee will be non-refundable. |
Step 3: Choice Filling & Locking | After the successful registration, the candidates will have to fill in their choices for college and courses before the last date. The choice filling should be in the order of priority and fill as many choices as they want to maximize their chance of getting a seat. It is also important for the candidates to lock their choices before the last date or else the choices made will be automatically locked on the last date. |
Step 4: Seat Allotment | During the seat allotment process, candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their JEECUP 2024 rank and choices. If the candidate accepts the seat allotted, he/ she will have to pay an acceptance fee of INR 3000/- which will be later adjusted in the admission fee. |
Step 5: Acceptance (Freeze/ Float) | After the seat allocation pays the acceptance fees and select one of the two options:

Step 6: Document Verification & Reporting | After the seat allotment process, those who have selected the freeze option will have to pay the admission fee online and report at the allotted institute to submit their documents for verification. |
Step 7: Final Admission Process | After document verification and payment of the admission fee, the admission process will be completed. |

It is mandatory to pay the JEECUP 2024 counselling fee at the time of registration. Those who fail to pay the JEECUP 2024 counselling fee within the stipulated time will not be allowed for the counselling process. The JEECUP 2024 counselling fee is INR 250/- and can be paid either in online mode (debit/ credit/ net banking) or offline mode (E-challan).
JEECUP 2024 Counselling Document Verification
The candidates must submit their documents for verification at the time of the counselling process of JEECUP 2024. Those who fail to submit their documents will be disqualified from the JEECUP 2024 counselling process. It is also important for the candidates to bring one original and two photocopies of all the documents to the prescribed centre.
