Jharkhand Diploma Lateral Entry merit list 2025 has been prepared based on marks obtained by the students in the examination. A combined merit list of the concerned courses as well as a category-merit list will be prepared and seats will be allotted in the concerned branch of the Diploma Course based on merit-cum-will. Based on the merit position obtained by the students, the seat allotment process is carried out. In case two or more students score same marks, the merit list will be prepared as per the following tie-breaking criteria.

• When two or more students with similar scores in the 10+2 exam with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, or 10th +2 year ITI have equal marks, the students with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, and/or Business Studies/Entrepreneurship will be given preference.
• Students with the earliest date of birth will be given preference if their scores on the 10+2 exam are equal and include Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship.
• The same procedure will be followed for students with 10th + 2 year ITI.
• Despite this, if the situation remains the same then the merit order will be determined according to the English alphabetical order of the student's first name.
