Qualifying the NEET Exam

The JIPMER BSc Nursing admission will be offered on the basis of scores obtained in the NEET (UG) exam. 100 MCQs (Multiple-Choice Questions) will be asked over a duration of 3 hours through the Computer-Based Test (online) mode. The courses provided through the NEET exam include BSc Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing. Allocation of seats will be done on the basis of merit in NEET UG and seat availability. 

Fulfilling JIPMER BSc Nursing Eligibility Requirements

To become eligible for the BSc Nursing programme, candidates should be Indian nationals and at least 17 years of age as of December 31 of the previous year. No upper age limit has been mentioned.

 It is mandatory for the candidates to have passed class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board/university with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks for the (Unreserved) UR category, 40 percent marks for the reserved category candidates (SC/ST), and 45 percent marks for the PWD category. Additionally, the candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany & Zoology, and English as subjects in class 12.

JIPMER BSc Nursing Result and Merit List 2024

The result for the JIPMER BSc Nursing exam was available on June 4, 2024, through online mode on the official website of JIPMER. The results will be released by the authorities in the form of a merit list that will be prepared based on the marks scored by a candidate in the entrance examination.
