Karnataka NEET Merit List 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria
As per the rules set by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), if two or more candidates secure the same score as per the NEET Karnataka State Rank List 2024, the following tie-breaking criteria are considered to determine their ranks:
Candidates securing higher marks in biology will be given preference and allotted high ranks in comparison to the rest.
If the tie persists, candidates securing higher marks in chemistry will be given preference and allotted high ranks in comparison to the rest.
If the tie persists, candidates with fewer negative marks will be given preference and allotted high ranks in comparison to the rest.
However, if the tie persists, the older candidates will be given preference.
