List of DU Colleges: Admissions Procedure 2025
The admissions process for UG and PG courses at colleges under DU has been revised. For UG and PG courses, Delhi University conducts a common entrance exam known as the Central Universities Entrance Test or CUET Exam. The questions asked in these CUET entrance exams are based on the topics included in the
CBSE Board Class 12 syllabus. The competition for these entrance exams is also very high. So, students must go through the
CBSE Board Class 12 Previous Year Question Papers to prepare for the same. The CUET UG exam is conducted for admission to UG courses at Delhi University, after which the CSAS counselling is conducted for final admission.
Earlier, admission to a few UG and all PG courses was given through DU-conducted entrance exams, namely the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) or the Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam followed by a Personal Interview (PI). However, from 2024, DU has begun offering PG courses through CUET PG as well.
Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) is used to determine admission to all colleges under DU based on CUET scores. There are three stages to the admissions procedure. Candidates must complete the CSAS application form in phase 1. Students can choose their preferred course and college during the second phase. Seat distribution over several rounds and final admission based on a merit list will be part of the third phase.
