The NEET 2024 counselling process has been postponed, and is likely to commence in July 2024. Previously, the NEET counselling 2024 date was anticipated to be July 6, 2024. All candidates are required to carry the below-mentioned NEET counselling 2024 documents required, along with their photocopies, to the allotted medical/dental colleges for physical document verification round. Here is the list of documents required for NEET counselling 2024:

  • High School & Intermediate Mark Sheets

  • High School & Intermediate Passing Certificate

  • Identity Proof with a Photo such as Aadhar Card/ Driving License, Voter ID, Ration Card, PAN Car

  • Birth Certificate

  • Category Certificate (If Applicable)

  • EWS Certificate (If Applicable)

  • Passport size photograph (Six)

  • NEET 2024 Admit Card

NOTE: For NEET state counseling, each state has its own set of rules like one needs to register first, then need to attend a verification round with all required documents including a domicile certificate. Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2024 Counselling Process

All candidates must meet the following list of eligibility criteria in order to participate in the NEET counselling process this year:

  • To score equal or above the NEET 2024 Cutoff Marks requirements.

  • To complete candidate registration for the counselling process by paying the application fee through the official website of MCC.

  • Candidates who are registered under 85% State Quota counselling through the state medical boards are eligible to apply for the counselling process.

  • Candidates who qualify for NEET 2024 15% AIQ seats in deemed universities and other medical institutions are eligible to apply for the counselling process.

NEET applicants seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS courses must follow these steps to register for the NEET counselling 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC i.e. www.mcc.nic.in

Step 2: Register by entering the roll number for generating the user ID

Step 3: Keep the registration slip safely after successful registration

Step 4: Pay an online application fee of INR 1000/- for NEET 2023 Counselling via Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card

Step 5: Choose the preference of medical colleges available according to your NEET 2023 score during Choice Filling

Is caste certificate required for NEET 2024 counselling?

Caste certificate is required during the neet counselling process. It will be required during the seat allotment procedure once you are allotted a seat in a college. You will have to fill in your caste during the application form from which you want to opt for seats like Gen, EWS, OBC, SC,ST. No certificate will be required from Unreserved category students.

Do I have to upload the documents while registering for NEET 2024 counselling?

The documents are not required to be uploaded while registering for the NEET counselling process. However, these documents will be needed after a seat is allotted in the college.

What is the self-declaration document in NEET 2024?

The self-declaration form consists COVID-19-related questionnaire in which the applicants will have to answer Yes or No. It is to be noted that the applicants must answer the questions correctly or they would not be allowed to sit in the exam in case of any discrepancy found.

Do I require class 11th Marksheet for NEET Counselling 2024?

The applicants are recommended to keep at least 4 postcard size photographs ready for future use. A full signature with a running hand should be made for NEET 2024 admission process. Is Digilocker Marksheet valid in NEET 2024 Counselling?

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has ordered all universities and colleges to accept degree certificates, mark sheets and other required documents kept in DigiLocker accounts as valid documents in NEET 2024 Counselling.

Are eMarksheets valid in NEET Counselling 2024?

Educational documents like degree certificates, mark sheets issued on the DigiLocker are valid documents. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced the same requesting the Medical Colleges to accept these during NEET counselling 2024.

Is a gap year certificate required for NEET Counselling?
