IISc Bangalore has released the GATE exam pattern for Mining Engineering. Candidates should analyze the GATE 2024 exam pattern to know about exam mode, marking scheme, section-wise weightage, etc. Based on the exam pattern, candidates can plan their paper-solving strategy.

  • The GATE exam 2024 will be conducted in online mode; Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • The exam duration is 3 hours and the paper will be formatted in English language. 
  • There will be MCQs, MSQs & NATs type questions asked in the GATE 2024 exam. 
  • Questions will be asked from 3 sections namely General Aptitude, Mathematics, and core subject.
  • The exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks
