Madhya Pradesh MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2024

Given below is the eligibility criteria for Madhya Pradesh MBBS admissions:

Education Qualifications: To secure admission in MP medical colleges, candidates must pass class 12 with Biotechnology/Biology, Physics, English, and Chemistry. Detailed educational requirements are as follows:

  • Unreserved students must have a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
  • Reserved category aspirants need at least 40%, while physically disabled candidates from unreserved categories require 45%.
  • All candidates must meet the desired NEET cut-off.

Nativity/Domicile Holders: Only Madhya Pradesh domicile holders can apply for MBBS and BDS courses under the state quota, with exceptions for:

  • Children of freedom fighters
  • Wards of defence personnel
  • Children of Government of India employees serving in Madhya Pradesh

Nationality: Indian citizens and NRIs are eligible for Madhya Pradesh MBBS admissions 2024.

Age: Candidates aged between 17 and 25 years as of December 31, 2024, and May 5, 2024, respectively, can apply for Madhya Pradesh MBBS admissions.

Madhya Pradesh MBBS Application Process 2024

Here is the Madhya Pradesh MBBS Application Process 2024:

Registration: Candidates will have to create their profiles on the official admission portal using their NEET 2024 roll number and a secret key comprising their date of birth, year of passing class 12 and NEET 2024 score. After filling in all these details, candidates will have to click on the register button in order to complete the process.

Filling in Details: after this process, candidates have to provide their bank details and contact details. An OTP is sent on the registered contact detail (phone or email) and using this, the candidate can log in in order to set a new password. After setting the new password, candidates will have to provide all academic and personal details for MP MBBS and BDS admissions.

Uploading Documents: Uploading the necessary documents is the next step in Madhya Pradesh application process. Candidates will have to upload, class 12 mark sheet, pass certificate, NEET 2024 documents, caste certificate, domicile and income certificate in case candidates is applying for the fee waiver.

Payment of Application Fees: Paying the registration and application fee is the last step and on successful payment, a transaction receipt will be generated that candidates will need during MP MBBS and BDS admission document verification process.

Madhya Pradesh MBBS Counselling 2024

Candidates have to fill up the names of MP medical colleges in their preference list and lock them in order to participate in the counselling. If the list is not submitted by the deadline then the provisional list of choices will be locked automatically. The state will conduct two rounds of counselling and any seats that remain vacant after these two rounds of counselling will be up for allocation in the Madhya Pradesh mop-up round. The state has released a detailed seat matrix on the official website for the reference of students.
