MBBS Admissions Through Management Quota is expected to begin in the 2nd week of July 2024. Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria as per the Medical Council of India to be eligible for MBBS Admissions Through Management Quota.
MBBS Admissions Through Management Quota in 2024 is availed by candidates who are not able to clear the NEET Cutoff marks and the NEET Counselling rounds. Through this provision, students are able to get admission to the medical college by paying almost two to 4 times hike in fees. All admissions to the MBBS course, whether through Counselling or Management Quota are based on the scores obtained in NEET 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is the exam conducting body of NEET. Based on NTA's latest update, the NEET 2024 Result was released on June 4 and the NEET Counselling 2024 is expected to begin by July 6, 2024.
As per the regulations stated by the Central Government, all aspirants must sit for the national level exam to enrol in one of MBBS Colleges in India. While most opt for counselling-based admissions, the Medical Council of India has provided aspirants with the option to go for Management Quota under NEET-UG 2024. MBBS Management Quota Eligibility Criteria
In order to enroll in MBBS through management quota, the students are required to qualify the requisite MBBS management quota eligibility criteria, as specified by the Medical Council of India and the respective state health and medical education department. The eligibility criteria states:
Candidates should have cleared their class 12 board examination in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) or Biotechnology. They are required to have secured 50% aggregate scores in the mentioned subjects.
It is imperative for aspirants to have a valid score and rank in NEET-UG 2024, conducted by the NTA.
Students all across India are eligible for the quota, as per the directives of the Medical Council of India.
All aspirants are required to have secured the following percentile, in order to avail the management quota for MBBS admissions.
Candidates should ensure that they complete 17 years of age as on 31st December.

Application Process for MBBS Admissions through Management Quota
Most states offer MBBS seats under the management quota, for which candidates are required to apply online. Many a times, the Govt department is responsible for medical admissions. For instance, in Andhra Pradesh, The NTR University of Health Sciences regulates the management quota seats.
All those interested in enrolling under an MBBS course are required to visit the competent authority, check out the regulations specifically pertaining to management quota seats of the state and apply as per the guidelines mentioned by the State Medical Education Department or equivalent.
Documents Required for MBBS Management Quota Admission 2024
In most cases, candidates will be able to apply for management quota seats through the online mode itself. However, to apply, candidates will be required to keep the following documents required for MBBS Management Quota Admissions:

Under management quota seats for MBBS admissions 2024, candidates will be offered a seat based on a first-come-first-serve basis. Therefore, admissions under the management quota will be based on the vacancies available. Each state will allow its respective medical colleges to reserve a certain percentage of seats under the management quota. These seats will be filled by the respective college authorities based on the parameters mentioned above.

MBBS Admission Through Management Quota in Deemed Universities
After successful registration, as per the rules it is mandatory for the candidates to provide their preferences of deemed universities in which they wish to get MBBS admission through management quota. Admission to the management quota of the university will be granted on the basis of NEET 2024 results, seat availability, reservation occupancy and other determining factors. Allotment Authority will offer admission to 5,867 MBBS seats in Deemed Universities through management quota in 2023.
MBBS Admissions Through Management Quota: Counselling procedure
Students can go through the overall counselling procedure of Deemed University MBBS admission via the management quota given below.
- Aspirants have to register themselves online and pay the application fee on the MCC web portal to partake in the counselling process of MBBS admissions through management quota.
- Post registration, students are needed to give their course preference and opt for the desired institute.
- Official authorities will release seat allotment results for each round.
- Based on the choices filled, NEET scores, seats available, reservation criteria, and other aspects, the admission to Deemed University results are curated and released.
- Candidates have to download the allotment letter and report at the allotted instituted offering MBBS admission through management quota within the stipulated date and timings.
- Official authorities will post a list of vacant seats for counselling’s next round.
- Further MBBS admission counselling process will be conducted the same as round one.
- Students will be able to secure MBBS Admissions Through Management Quota after all AIQ seats are filled.
