In Arts, Humanities, Science & Research, the varsity has managed to jump from 7th rank in 2022 to the 4th rank in 2023 in the state of Rajasthan. Overall, the ranking has improved from 54 in 2022 to 38 in 2023. Mewar University seems to be making remarkable progress in the fields of Law and Engineering. If similar growth continues, the university is expected to acquire a good NIRF ranking in the coming years.

Mewar University's library is one of the largest university libraries in Rajasthan. It is not only well-stocked with study materials but also has a wide variety of books from almost every genre. The entire library is air-conditioned and completely automated. It is also equipped with Xerox machines, printers, fax machines, computers, and other modern amenities.

Laboratories:

With numerous high-tech laboratories spread across the campus, Mewar University offers a high-quality laboratory experience. Each laboratory is equipped with the latest technologies, along with a high seating capacity, and in-stock availability of laboratory equipment. There are separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Communication, Workshop, Computer, Graphics, and Language Labs, to cater for the demand of the larger number of students at once. Each laboratory is looked after by specified lab persons, to keep all the amenities available and safe for student's use. All laboratories are air-conditioned and equipped with high-end servers. An interesting fact, there are several 750 KVA DG units for each laboratory at the university, providing power backup to all machines 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Hostel:

Mewar University hostel facilities are considered top-notch in the game of student accommodations. Not only are the rooms well furnished, air-conditioned and clean, but they are spacious and properly equipped with the basic everyday student necessities. The university claims to provide clean drinking water flowing 24*7, power supply backup, laundry facilities, entertainment zones, an on-campus Medical Healthcare facility, telephone services, food, and 24*7 security services. 

Roughly a total number of 800-900 students can be accommodated in the Mewar University hostels at once, in all wings combined. There are separate wings for male and female candidates, with a common room for each in their respective wings. All hostel buildings are assigned a warden and an in-charge in the absence of a warden, a gymnasium, a medical care facility, an activity room, an auditorium, etc. Yoga and meditation classes are also offered daily. Regular encouragement to participate in religious, cultural, and social activities is also common in Mewar University hostels.

Transport:

The transport facilities inside the Mewar University campus are convenient for the students as it maintains its own transportation fleet. There is quite a large number of on-campus vehicles available for connectivity across the campus and for connecting the city and the campus. These vehicles operate 24*7 and are specifically designed for industrial visits and academic and co-curricular events inside the University campus.

Canteen at Mewar University stands as an important part of the campus, with a huge fully air-conditioned space along with modern furnishings and an automatic cooking system. The canteen has clean running water and a huge food storage facility. Students are served hot meals and beverages from various menus available.

Apart from the fact that the University has done an impressive job in terms of infrastructure, many students are also of the opinion that the modern outlook of the University has made it difficult to establish a cohesive learning environment for students. With modern technologies and amenities available at students' disposal, the learning experience at the University has become rather boring and incomplete with student to student interactions growing lesser every single day.

Mewar University grants admission to students hailing from different social strata. According to the reports, around 70% of the students are usually from within the state. The university witnesses a large number of women's admission requests every year. It has also designed the campus with differently-abled friendly resources. Mewar University still lingers in doubt when it comes to the admission rate of students outside the state of Rajasthan, due to a number of reasons. There is scope for inviting students from other states of India to enhance the diversity and representation of the university further. The placement opportunities at Mewar University are quite impressive when it comes to the standard opportunities offered by private learning institutes across the country. Most of the undergraduate and postgraduates are selected for decent packages while the rest of them settle down for median packages.

Despite a large number of teaching faculty members, candidates feel that the student-teacher bonding is not very strong.
