Aspirants of MG University who would like to join in undergraduate courses offered by the varsity must satisfy the eligibility criteria defined by the university. The eligibility criteria of MG University for UG courses are provided below.

General Eligibility Criteria

  • The Candidate must have passed the Class – XII or Plus 2 from a university or recognized board.
  • The Candidate must have a minimum of 45-50% of marks in their Class XII or Plus Two or Intermediate.
  • There is no upper and lower age limit for the admissions of Undergraduate programmes except for the sports category.

Eligibility Criteria for Faulty of Arts

  • The Candidate must have passed the Class – XII or Plus 2 from a university or recognized board.
  • Aspirants must have a minimum of 45-50% of Marks in their Class XII or Intermediate or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates opting for languages like B.A Sanskrit Language, B.A Tamil, and B.A Arabic must have the working knowledge and must have studied them as a second language in their SSC.

Eligibility Criteria for Faulty of Science

  • The Candidate must have passed the Class – XII or Intermediate from a university or recognized board.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 45-50% of Marks in their Class XII or Intermediate or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates, who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, are eligible for admission into most of science group programmes.  
  • Candidates, who are seeking admission in different courses of Science, must have studied the same subject or similar subject in their Class-12 or Intermediate.

Eligibility Criteria for Faulty of Technology and Applied Sciences

  • The Candidate must have passed the Class – XII or Plus 2 from a university or recognized board.
  • Aspirants must have a minimum of 45-50% of Marks in their Class XII or Intermediate or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Computer Science in their Class- XII.

Eligibility Criteria for Faulty of Education

  • The Candidate must have passed the Class – XII or Intermediate from a university or recognized board.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 45-50% of Marks in their Class XII or Intermediate or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates must possess a Physical Education Certificate issued by a recognized institution of Physical Education.

Eligibility Criteria for Faulty of Commerce

  • The Candidate must have passed the Class – XII or Plus 2 from a university or recognized board.
  • Aspirants must have a minimum of 45-50% of Marks in their Class XII or Intermediate or equivalent examination.

MG University UG application form 2025 is closed now. The application form was available online once the official notification of MG University UG admission 2025 was released. Aspirants can submit a single application for the multiple courses and colleges as the university conducts the admission process through CAP. The step-by-step process to fill out the application form of MG University UG admissions 2025 is provided below.

How to Apply for MG University UG Admission 2025?

MG UG Admission 2025 will be conducted by teh university through a single application form. Students willing to participate in the UG programmes must register at teh portal within teh given deadline. Before you apply for your preferred programme, read teh eligibility criteria carefully. The registration portal is expected to be activated in the second week of May 2025. Find the steps to fill out the application form for UG admission below:

1st step: Registration

  1. Visit the official website of MG University i.e. cap.mgu.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, navigate to the links that read ”UG CAP 2025”
  3. Enter details in teh given fields
  4. Create a password

2nd step: Filling out Form

  1. Log in to the application portal with your ID and password
  2. Provide the personal and academic details in the form
  3. Pay the application fee by clicking on the “Pay Now” button

3rd step: Uploading of Documents

  1. After you make a fee payment, you will redirected to the application page
  2. Now, upload the necessary documents
  3. Verify the details carefully before the final submission
  4. Click on submit and take a hard copy of the application form

Note: Candidates can fill out the application forms for only one UG programme. In the case of multiple forms from a single candidate, rejection is inevitable.

MG University UG Admission Seat Allotment 2025

The seat allocation for MG University's UG admission is solely based on the marks obtained at the intermediate or +2 level. The Centralised Admission Process is used by MG University for undergraduate admissions. Candidates who have completed the application form and paid the application fee are eligible for the MG University UG CAP 2025. Candidates are assigned seats at MG University based on their Class XII or Intermediate results.

The first allotment list will be released after the verification of documents and related details. All the selected candidates must choose from either of the options viz temporary or permanent admission. 

Candidates securing their seat allotments shall pay the required fees as per the University’s website.  Those waiting for a higher/better option need not pay the fee. 

However, they should choose the temporary admission option until the fourth allotment list is released. Those candidates who fail to choose options such as ‘temporary’ or ‘permanent’ admissions are not eligible for admissions. They will be considered as ‘Not Joined’. At every step of the allotment process candidates will receive an SMS.
