B Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed 12th examination with minimum 45% marks (40% in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) with Physics & Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with one of the subsequent subject Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or its equivalent.

BDS Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate seeking admission to the BDS programme should have passed class 12th examination or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually, from any recognised Board, with marks as per the examination authorities conducting NEET.

• Admissions will be done on the basis of the candidates' rank obtained in NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) entrance examination and the counselling by KEA.

B Pharm Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed in two-year P.U.C examination of Karnataka or its equivalent or have passed 10+ 2 examinations from any other acknowledged Board or University with English as one of the subjects

• Candidates should be 17 years of age on or before 31 December

• The seats belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes shall be reserved in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government / State / Union Territory Administration.

B Tech & B Pharm Selection Process

Admission through the Government Quota (40% of seats)

To get admission through the government quota, the candidate needs to appear for KCET. Based on the candidate's KCET score, the candidate will be shortlisted for admission through the government quota.

KCET is an offline state level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). KCET is a state-level entrance examination and is a gateway for the candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate Engineering and Health Sciences programmes offered in the state. The question paper will consist of multiple types of questions. Each question will consist of four options out of which candidates will have to choose one correct answer. Candidates have to choose the course and colleges according to their preferences

Candidates who have cleared the KCET Entrance exam will have to then appear for the KCET Counselling process. The document verification process will also be included in the consultation process. Once the procedure for the allocation of seats has been completed, qualified candidates will have to report to the designated centre for confirmation of the seat. It should be noted that if a candidate does not report to the designated centre, then his / her seat will be cancelled and he/she can not demand any seats for the admission.

Admission to University Quota (60% of Seat)

In order to get admission through the University quota, the candidate needs to appear for the RUASAT- Admission Test conducted by the university. Based on the RUASAT marks, the candidates will be shortlisted for the University Quota. The university also accepts SAT score for admission in the B.Tech and B.Pharm program.

Uni-Gauge (For B Tech Program )

The candidates who qualify the Uni-Gauge entrance exam are also eligible to apply for the B.Tech program in the M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. In order to take admission in the B Tech program, the Uni-Gauge candidate will have to register themselves for the counselling process at the university admission office. And in order to participate in the counselling process, the candidate will have to send their Uni-Guage score before the last date of admission (3rd Week of June 2020)

At the time of counselling, the candidates will have to submit their original documents. And to confirm their admission they have pay Rs. 50,000/- as part of the First Year Fee immediately. And the remaining first-year fee will have to be paid on or before 1st July 2020, failing would cancel the admission and the fee already paid would be forfeited.

BDS Selection Process

The candidates who are aspiring to take admission in the BDS program will have to appear for NEET. All admissions in the BDS program are done through the centralised common counselling by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
